  1. We like to cook in our bathing suits! We've transitioned into active wear – however we will always have a special place in our hearts for bikinis!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Can this be a substitute for all-purpose flour? Or is it meant to be used in place of something else? I have several friends with Celiac disease, and buying the gluten-free all-purpose flour substitutes can get pricey.

Yes Andrew, this is absolutely a substitute for all purpose flour, and less expensive than buying gluten free flour. Your friends must love you! Welcome to Blender Babes! ๐Ÿ™‚ xo

Great question Lindsey, we have never tried with arrowroot. We did find this article that was helpful. If you try it let us know how it turns out and we will update the recipe for others who have the same concern ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Hi Sarah, that’s a great question. Regular blenders typically are between 350-700 watts and do not have the power to grind grains (the rice) into flour. Blendtec & Vitamix are commercial grade blenders and have enough power (1100-1560 watts!) to do this. If you have a more powerful than average regular blender (check the wattage), it MAY be able to handle grinding up the rolled oats, however use caution as we do not want you to break your blender! You could then purchase rice flour, so that might be something to try to still make gluten free baking mix. ๐Ÿ™‚
