Made with bok choy, this smoothie is packed full of vitamins and minerals.
The lemon lime gives this smoothie a nice fresh flavor. This is a low calorieย smoothie recipe that everyone will love!
You can easilyย make this smoothie with your power blender, such as aย Vitamix or Blendtec, but if you don’t have the best blender for smoothiesย not to worry!
Follow these tips to get your green smoothie super smooth!
From Julie:ย Let the truth come out: I first made a variation of this slushie-like smoothie as one of the โhealthy margaritasโ I make from time-to-time (yes, I put superfoods in my cocktails . . . why not?).
Tequila-talk aside, this version still has the tart flavor of a margarita, only with more concentrated benefits. Youโll definitely want to sweeten this a bitโits citrusy, sour notes are quite prominent.
I generally use 15 drops of stevia per blender, and adding a single tablespoon of coconut sugar is a special treat.
