This Dr. Oz Morning Mocha Smoothie Recipe is a great coffee-free way to start your day with an energy boost!

Yerba Mate Tea has so any health benefits, like helping toย  relieve stress and increase weight loss (see health benefits below) and raw cacao can boost brain function.

Are you wondering where to buy yerba mate? Don’t worry – we did too! Our recipe testersย ordered it on amazon and also found it at theirย local health food store.

This dairy-free vegan smoothie recipe uses natural sweetener stevia to help keep calories low. However, if you’re not a fan of stevia, try using 2 soaked and pitted dates and benefit from the added fiber – or your favorite unrefined natural sweetener.

The amazing thing about this mochaย smoothie is that it takes care of your hunger and caffeine needs without the excess calories that come from a typical coffee shop blendedย mocha!

Aย good powerย blender will quickly give you a smooth consistency, however if you have a “regular” blender justย follow these blending tips!

I feel like 1 tablespoon of vanilla was a misprint?? Bc this was nasty. That’s all I could taste and I typically am a vanilla girl.

    1. Hey Marcy! I double checked and that is the amount of vanilla the recipe calls for from Dr Oz. I made it the other day but may have used a little less myself but mostly b/c I like less vanilla flavor ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks for sharing your feedback, I will adjust the recipe here. Happy Blending! ~Tarashaun
