I AM SPICE-C HOTย is the fourth or Mid-Afternoon drink recipe in our FREE JUICE DETOX. This green juice recipe includes super detoxing and anti-inflammatory ginger and jalapeรฑo, however it’s an interesting and refreshing flavor you will surprisingly enjoy. You can use 2 cups of spinach or kale instead of 1 cup of each.

Jalapenos are spicy peppers and members of theย Capsaicin family, which means it acts as an anti-inflammatory and vasodilator that promotes healthy blood flow.
Ginger does wonder for digestion and will detoxify your gastrointestinal tract in a variety of ways. For one, ginger improves nutrient absorption by stimulating gastric and pancreatic enzyme secretion and relieves stomachaches, pain, and inflammation. Ginger is powerful: regular consumption of ginger slows the growth of colorectal cancer cells!
Pineappleย contains an enzyme calledย bromelain that aids in digestion and cleans the bloodย while alsoย helping in the breakdown of protein. Pineapple is alsoย anti-inflammatory, so this juice is particularly great for those with arthritis or joint pain. Pineapple also containsmanganese,ย which serves toย regulate blood glucose and boost your immune systemalongside theย plentiful amounts of Vitamin C.
The phytonutrients in apples help to regulate blood sugar by breaking down complex carbohydrates into simple sugars that are easy for your body to digest. Note: Spinach grows unprotected by a rind or peel, so it is particularly vulnerable to pesticides and other agricultural chemicals, landing it on the ‘Dirty Dozen‘ list. If you can find and afford organic spinach, it is highly recommended!

Juice 4/Mid-Afternoon Juice โ I AM SPICE-C HOT!
Ingredients
- 12 ounces coconut water
- 1 cup pineapple fresh or frozen
- 1 banana fresh or frozen
- 1 apple
- 1 orange
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup kale
- 1/2 teaspoon or 1/2-inch jalapeno seeds removed, depending on how HOT you like it!
- 1/2 teaspoon or 1/2-inch ginger
- 2 cup ice less if using frozen fruit
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into the blender and secure lid.
- For Blendtec: Press the SOUP button (you want to run for 1.5 minutes to full liquefy ingredients into a smooth juice).
- For Vitamix: Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to VARIABLE, speed #10, then flip it to high. Blend for 1.5 minutes

This I AM SPICE-C HOT juice is low in Saturated Fat, and very low in Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin B6, Folate, Magnesium and Potassium, and a very good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K and Manganese. It is strongly anti-inflammatory. It has 37% of your daily Fiber, 26% of Vitamin B6, and 31% of your recommended daily allowance of Folate.
Loved the kick! I also added a little turmeric to mine, paired nicely. The jalapeรฑo was awesome but the pinneapple and orange made it spicy sweet! Love it!
Good recipe. I added small amount turmeric, curry I like using frozen bananas. The ones that become overly ripen freeze great, just put in ziplock, leaving skin on. When ready to use, run under warm water, peel slides right off. For people with crummy blender like mine, use food processor, finish in blender
